伍兹贝格香港工作室为中航集团设计了第二个大型综合购物中心—九方购物中心，是昆山最大型的购物及休闲综合体。九方购物中心为于昆山市萧林路与紫竹路交汇处，是昆山首个大型一站式购物场所，结合零售和生活方式、餐饮及娱乐的综合体。
10月30日当天，九方购物中心现场热闹非凡，开业典礼在舞狮带领下，九方购物中心正式开业。开业当天除了舞狮巡店外，活动更包括歌舞表演、时装秀、高空飞艇小黄人巡游等，吸引了众多昆山及邻近城市的市民驻足九方购物中心。
九方购物中心是中航集团的重点综合体品牌。在昆山的九方综合体内包括皇冠假日酒店、甲级写字楼、住宅及超过110,000平方米的购物中心（5层大型购物空间及地下一层商业）。
九方购物中心汇聚昆山前所未有的时尚业态，塑造全天候、一站式购物体验，改写昆山商业格局和消费习惯，为昆山创造时尚新中心。购物中心提供超过200个零售商店，包括全球时尚品牌如Gap、Nike、New Balance，生活品牌包括哈根达斯、无印良品、星巴克以及电影院、大型品牌超市及昆山的第一家H&M、玩具“反”斗城、星际传奇电玩中心等。
伍兹贝格作为九方购物中心的设计师，设计范围包括策略布局规划以及考虑内部建筑空间的室内设计。购物中心的概念是以内向外设计理念为中心，解决原建筑设计限制问题，如相对较小的中庭挑空及如何以设计优化及最大化租赁面积，将原限制条件转化为商业优势。通过建筑设计手法优化这些挑空，从而以分层设计手法及穿孔板和照明元素形造一种更大的错觉空间感。同时，这种做法能大大优化跨楼层视线和能见度，这对设计零售购物商场至关重要。
“9 Square” is the first large-scale integrated retail and lifestyle complex in the key shopping district of Kunsha, offering retail, F&B and leisure and entertainment destinations for shoppers.
The mall opened on Friday, October 30th 2015 with a grand opening ceremony which included lion dancing, a cartoon characters performance and fashion runway. The grand opening was a great success, bringing crowds from Kunshan and surrounding cities of mainland China.
With over 110,000 sqm GFA across five floors and a basement level, the 9 Square shopping centre forms part of CATIC’s landmark commercial complex, along with the Crowne Plaza Hotel, residential community and A-grade office space.
The shopping centre offers approximately 200 retail stores including global fashion brands H&M, Gap,Häagen-Dazs, Muji, Nike, New Balance, Starbucks and Toys “R” Us along with acinema, a gaming centre and over 3,000 sqm of branded supermarket at the basement and Kunshan’s first kidland.
The concept behind the design of the mall was to design it from the inside out, resolving the architectural restrictions such as relatively small atrium voids with large leasing volumes turning limitations into advantages. An architectural design approach was applied to express these voids with an illusion that creates visually larger void spaces by introducing an extra step-up layer that consistsof perforated panels with lighting. At the same time, it permits better cross-level sightline and visibilities, which are crucial when designing retail shopping malls.
